Day 2: Is Desteni A Scam - What's up with the whole 'Apply the Tools' Point?

This blogpost is a continuation from "Day 1: I stand Witness to the Desteni Organization, by Kim Amourette - My Introduction to Desteni" and I am continuing from the following statement:

The Desteni Organization/Website/Group did not charge money for this information, they did not push me to go and buy this or that book to 'enhance my Spiritual Awakening' and in no way did I feel 'left out' of some vital information because I did not have the money to pay for this or that course or workshop, in fact they did not ask money for anything --- they offered these tools of Life-Support unconditionally, which is an extremely rare thing in this world where 'self-development' has become an industry for the Rich. This was probably the most determining point that separated Desteni from any other Spiritual Path or Teaching that I had up to that point come accross.


 Since when I first came in contact with the Desteni Organization and the Equal Life Foundation in 2007, they were in their beginning stages of introducing themselves into the Internet and making their presence known. Over the years, slowly but surely, people found the website, started applying the tools for themselves, and those that actually applied the tools found out that it works and also became part of the Desteni Research Team through the Equal Life Foundation, while those that did not apply the tools quickly left.

This aspect of 'applying the tools' is a very interesting part of the functioning of the Desteni Group, as it is only those that apply the tools over a large period of time who show their dedication and resolution through having walked the necessary process of disciplining themselves. This is the most essential part that separates Desteni and the Equal Life Foundation from any other activist organization that claim they want to Change the world - is that: those that form the bases of the Desteni Group and the ELF have to actually prove their stance through consistently and visibly walking a process of self-transformation, which can be witnessed by all through their Journey To Life Blogs and vlogs and their participation on the forum. Within this, the part of being visible to all is quite important because in that way, everyone can see/read who you are and what you stand for directly in your words as your daily writing - and also, this guarantees total transparency with regards to what and especially 'who' is the Desteni Organization and the ELF.

It is this visibility of 'who' each being really is within and as themselves, that is missing within all the essential institutions in our world that hold our lives in their hands. For instance, we are supposed to blindly trust that our politicians, bank directors, Company CEO's and NGO Executives will make decisions that are best for everyone and that they are beings with integrity that hold the interests of all the people at heart - yet we have no way of seeing who they really are because we have accepted and allowed a system where the Self-Interest of the Individual is protected and where things like Integrity is basically dead. Yet what we've failed to realize and understand is that this accepted overriding of integrity by self-interest has its consequences in that we are basically accepting and approving that our politicians are corrupt as they will only make decisions that are in their own best interest rather than in the interest of all.

I have been walking the Journey to Life and the Desteni 'I' Process for about a Year now and from personal experience, I can state that it is through walking something every day, consistently, that I prove to myself as well as everyone else Who I am and what I stand for. It is all too easy to say and claim that you are 'for world peace' or 'world change' and that you 'want to stop abuse', but to actually prove that you stand by your words in physical reality is a whole other pair of sleeves. Your words after all cannot be real and cannot hold any value if and when they are not being applied in full measure - and the biggest problem we face with our current political arena/structure is that there are many words being spilled but no living proof -- as we do not demand this proof from them because most likely, if we were to start demanding absolute transparency, consistency and a Living Statement and Testimony of Who they Are from our Politicians, we'd be total Hypocrites if we wouldn't do it ourselves. And so we allow our politicians to keep Secrets and to be dishonest, so that we can keep our Secrets.

Within the Desteni Group/Organization, we realized that if politics is ever to be trustworthy and Best for All, we as possible future politicians, and if not politicians then also as the future generation of Humanity, should become this absolute trustworthiness, consistency and transparency that we would demand from any Leader --- which is thus the starting point for sharing the 'Journey To Life' as the Process that we walk in 'Re-Creating' ourselves to become that which is Best for All. Where, it becomes clear that those who are really dedicated to Commit themselves to what is Best for All, will be consistent in walking this daily Journey, and those who were only speaking empty words like our politicians are today, they will eventually drop out and give up. And that is how one tells the difference between what is Real and what is Fake and so what/who can be trusted and what/who cannot , it's in the Consistency as the application of Self-Discipline.

Personally, I was never even remotely Disciplined in anything that I have ever done in my life, I had turned 'giving up' into an art as i pretty much gave up on any kind of project that i started. I'd come up with these grand ideas and ideals of what I want to do and accomplish or how I want to contribute to changing the world, but that was where it remained, in the 'world of Ideas' - which was always more about my personal longing to feel important than a true care for this world and reality. It has been through walking with Desteni and the ELF through the Journey to Life and the Desteni 'I' Process, where I am being tested in my resolve everyday, that my ability to discipline myself in working out a project  and so actually manifesting an idea, started taking shape. And for this, I am most grateful and because of this, I am motivated to continue walking this Journey to Prove to myself and All of Life that we as Humans are Capable and Able to take Responsibility for Ourselves and our Existence and Re-Create, Re-Shape and Re-Program ourselves to What is Best for All.
