Day 4: Is Desteni A Scam? - Equality is for Losers

A fascinating point that I have witnessed during the time that I have spent walking with the Desteni Organization, applying the tools of Self-Honesty, Self-Forgiveness and Self-Correction and especially having publicly shown my commitment, dedication and support for the Principle of Equality that Desteni stands for - is that there is a lot of resistance from people with regards to the word 'Equality' specifically. Where the Desteni Organization has been named and labelled many things, only for consistently using this word 'Equality'.

I mean, if Desteni was standing for 'Oneness' only, and so not 'Oneness and Equality', it would not get so much attacks and resistance - because the word 'Oneness' seems to be an acceptable word that fits into the model of competition that exists within the human mind and human society, because of how 'Oneness' as a word is more like just an idea - like 'Yeah, we're all One', but it doesn't imply an actual real change in how we live here on this planet and specifically within Human Society and so, it's an acceptable word in our Human consciousness because it doesn't challenge the Status Quo of how live and exist in this world.

Whereas, in the word 'Equality', there's already an invitation present to look at the term in a more practical way -- probably because the words 'Equity' and 'Quality' is resonantly captured in the word. And these two words are actually very 'physical' and pertaining to our daily living reality. And so, it's fascinating that - when we hear the word 'Equality', we're subconsciously triggered in our mind to already consider a Change in Who we are and how we live our lives because of the 'realness' within and as the word. This triggers a preset emotional reaction of fear within ourselves as a 'natural' fear of losing that which we 'have' as what we've come to define as our 'survival' in this world, which is our entire 'Lifestyle'. And from there we automatically will experience a 'resistance' towards the word 'Equality' due to the subconscious understanding of what this word implies. All in One simple Word...

This entire process of what a word can trigger in an individual on a pure subconscious level, I had no idea of or insight in when I first started walking with Desteni. Where, in the beginning, I would react emotionally within myself when confronted with an individual that would outright attack, condemn and even threaten the Desteni Organization and its members, because I did not understand where this heavy resistance/attack was coming from, what it was that triggered this reaction within people. Because, from my perspective, the concept and principle of Equality made sense - it made sense to me that ending suffering in this world not only requires 'Oneness', as the more accepted term associated specifically with 'spirituality', but most of all it requires 'Equality' as a restoration of the 'Quality' of the 'Equity' that is this physical World called 'Earth'. In other words, to change the way we live as human beings through changing all the grand structures and institutions in this world that direct and determine our lives, such as economics, business infrastructure, the schooling system, the media and politics --- so that each human being and, dare I say it, each 'life-form' that is born in this world may enjoy a Life of Quality.

I personally stand witness to the fact that Desteni does not pose any form of threat to any individual in this world. Desteni does not in any way promote violence, aggression, hatred or blame towards any group or individual in this world - on the contrary, I have experienced and witnessed for myself in walking alongside members of the Desteni Organization that the organization provides support for individuals to be able to walk through and away from such petty experiences and 'personality-traits' and to explore and develop their ability to change themselves into someone that possesses all the qualities and assets one would look for in a Leader - like Honesty, integrity, compassion, patience, empathy and humility. This, for instance through the Desteni 'I' Process, an online course for Self-Development.

And so, initially I could not understand what it was that people were attacking Desteni for, why they saw Desteni as some kind of threat and found it necessary to even rally up other people to be 'against Desteni' and to ostracize the Organisation by any means necessary.  There have been many instances where a form of organized bullying took place on social media (See Example Here), specifically targeting the Desteni Organisation and its members. Where, now I understand that individuals who allow themselves to be easily directed by their emotional reactions, will act on their subconscious reaction and resistance to the word 'Equality' and actually go over to an 'attack', without even understanding or being aware of what they are doing and where there behavior is really coming from.

So, if you find yourself in any way reacting with resistance to the word Equality, investigate yourself, investigate your mind and realize that this reaction is part of the brainwashing program of the Human mind that will always only consider its own survival. Where, those that will be so arrogant to attack Desteni for using the word 'Equality', are those that are the most dangerous individuals in this world, entirely brainwashed by their own self-interest --- that they have lost all ability to apply some common sense and realize that to allow a system of Competition to exist in this world and reality, is to sign our own death-sentence. We only have one planet - it should be obvious to us that a system of Equality, where all life is valued equally, is the only way to ensure our collective survival.

Because, I mean, if the Mind's perspective of 'Me, Me, Me!!' were correct, we wouldn't be dependent on other life-forms for our survival in this world. This world IS Oneness and it requires Equality to place this understanding and realization into practical application.

What I have learned so far in walking with Desteni, is that the Mind's experience and perspective of reality cannot be trusted - and that, if we apply a little common sense and actually investigate how reality really functions, we may see that we've been fooled to believe and place our trust in all these Ideas that support self-interest but are not in fact in the best interest of all and so also not of ourselves.
